JEREMY TUPLIN NIGHT & DAY

Jeremy Tuplin has returned with a new single after the release of his well-received debut album, Violet Waves, earlier in 2020. ‘Night & Day’ was written in a pre-pandemic world, but feels more relevant than ever. “This song is sort of a tribute to the mundane, the humdrum of everyday life,” he explains. “It's got plenty of cultural references thrown in, from BoJack Horseman to Garth Marenghi's Darkplace to Chewits.” Musically, Tuplin fuses guitar-led folk with a twangy indie sound that sits between Mac DeMarco and The Beatles. The track is taken from his upcoming EP, Happiness, due for release on December 11th. -Dan Peeke
